Causes

  • Peripheral Neuropathy: It is sometimes difficult to maintain stability.
  • Vestibular Dysfunction: Affect my inner ear.
  • Blood Sugar Fluctuations: Sometimes causes dizziness, shakiness, and confusion.
  • Muscle Weakness: Nerve damage occasionally leads to decreased muscle strength in my lower body. 
  • Eyesight degeneration (Both eyes): Diabetic macula oedema, cataract (in both eyes) with intra-retina fluid and Blepharitis.
  • Mobility: Right-hand/arm rotation restriction - due to multiple fracture long-term injury. Plantar fasciitis: Periodically does not absorb shocks and support my left-side arch - to avoid the falling/flattening of my foot. 

Management and Improvement 

  • Medication: Now my blood glucose in target range (Weigh loss).
  • Balance Training: Strengthen the core and improve balance by swimming twice per week and walking.
  • Check Feet Daily: Bespoke foot ware (ASCIS) trainers and exercises.  
  • Home Safety Improvements: Compact trekking pole and hand rail. 10X Glass Magnifier for reading.
  • Stand up slowly to prevents (drop in blood pressure).
